TPN extends a heartfelt congratulations to Kendra Petty, the new Executive Vice President of Way.com!

Kendra has been in the parking industry for 30 years. As she reflected on her career, Kendra spoke of the gratitude she feels for the parking industry: “Over the years, I have built an incredible network of friends and relationships that are truly meaningful to me. Every city I travel to, and every industry meeting or conference I attend, I often bump into a friend—or many friends—and get to reconnect. I am very grateful for my many, many friends in the industry. They have been extremely supportive over the years, and that is irreplaceable.”

Way.com is revolutionizing the car industry and making car ownership easier and more financially reasonable for drivers. TPN asked Kendra about Way.com to better understand the company and its part in Our Industry. We learned that Way.com is better known as a Car Super App! It provides 8 verticals of technology, soon to be 9, that support car and driver. Way.com provides gas cashback, insurance, refinancing, roadside assistance, repair and maintenance, car washing, parking reservations, and EV charging services. It also offers a program called Way Plus, a membership program that allows drivers to participate in a plan providing excellent discounts on all these services, as well as cash back. Drivers can access all of these services through both the app and website. Way.com is in over 12,000 towns and cities internationally. They work with hundreds of partners and have negotiated impactful discounts for our users and members. Customers can schedule and pay for services through our Way.com app. As a gift to TPN’s ParkPulse readers, check out the Way.com app and use the code TPN for a one-time 10% off a Way+ subscription.

Kendra encourages others in Our Industry to “Show up strong, distinguish yourself, seek a talented mentor, build brilliant networks, stay informed, work very hard, do the right things always, be ethical, and you will get noticed.” We asked Kendra for advice she has for newer professionals in the industry. Her thoughtful and inspiring reply was, “If you want to grow in this industry, there are so many opportunities to do so. You just have to be your best self, be willing to put in the work (go the extra mile) and shine. Stand apart from the crowd in a positive way, and you can grow and advance. Technology is where our industry has shifted to over the last decade, and technology will continue to be the path forward, so look to be a part of companies that are at the forefront of technology supporting and driving the industry forward in a positive way.”

Kendra, thank you for your interview with TPN. Again, congratulations!
